The MGJV joint venture between Monadelphous and Giovenco Industries will provide a range of services to the Woodside-operated Karratha Gas Plant Life Extension Program. Our scope includes the planning and execution of mechanical, electrical, access, fire protection application, blasting and painting, cladding and insulation services.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking applications from qualified HSE professionals to join our team on a 3/1 FIFO basis. The successful applicant will provide HSE support to our project teams through the implementation of the individual project HSE management plan requirements.
To be successful in this role you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, be knowledgeable on contemporary and leading edge HSE practices and be motivated to facilitate best practice systems of work within an innovative and forward-thinking division.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Understand and apply HSE Management Systems/Plans in offshore operational environments
- Provide HSE coaching and guidance to site based leadership teams
- Facilitate/lead operational risk management processes
- Perform HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance to HSE processes
- Facilitate investigation of HSE incidents
- Engage with work crews in the field and provide practical HSE advice/improvement
- Analyse HSE data, identify trends and provide advice on improvement opportunities
The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a HSE role within the oil and gas industry
- Tertiary qualifications in OH&S
- Experience conducting incident investigations and reports (TapRooT desirable)
- Strong data analysis skills, with ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative and pro-active solutions
- An ability to engage and develop relationships across all levels of the organisation and with client stakeholders
