Neptune Asset Integrity Services provides asset integrity/inspection services to the oil and gas industry, along with clients from the refining and mining industries in Australia. In addition, Neptune provides repair and maintenance services with a particular emphasis on difficult to access locations utilising their specialised rope access techniques. 
  
Neptune is currently seeking a Plant Inspector for an existing client, operating oil and gas facilities in NW Australia. The successful candidate will integrate into our core crew on a 3&3 roster mobilising from Perth, WA. A great opportunity for career development whilst maintaining a healthy work / life balance. Duties include implementation of client’s onsite programme, performing inspections and testing within the facility’s integrity team, and generation of onsite inspection reports.

Essential to this role: 

• Piping Plant Inspection certification (AICIP / API 570 / ASME) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• IRATA Rope Access certification
• Corrosion inspection / remediation experience
• STOPAQ certification and experience
• Current Offshore certificates (BOSIET, MSIC, CSTP)
• Valid OGUK Medical Certificate
• Current and valid Australian Work Rights
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• In depth knowledge of inspection codes criteria and statutory requirements
• Ability to work within a team or autonomously
• Strong communication skills

  
Desirable qualifications / skills:

• Level 2 UT / MT/ PT / ET (ISO 9712) certification
• Familiarity with SAP or alternate CMS
• CSE, BA, GTA, CSR high risk work tickets
