Senior Mining Engineer
Gascoyne Resources Limited (GCY) was listed on the ASX in December 2009 and is focused on exploration and development of several gold projects in Western Australia.
The Company's 100% owned gold projects combined have over 2.3 million ounces of contained gold on granted Mining Leases.
The company is now seeking applications from experienced professionals to undertake the role of Senior Mining Engineer, based at our Dalgaranga Gold Project near Mount Magnet. Reporting to the Mining Manager.
Gascoyne Resources has constructed a modern well-equipped village on site. Personnel will fly direct to the site from Perth working an 8 and 6 roster. The village has 240 rooms.
This will be supported by the following qualifications, skills and characteristics;
- Recent relevant experience on a similar size mine, annual BCM mined is 15 to 20 M BCM.
- Ability to use GEOVIA Surpac software.
- Demonstrated capacity to work within a small multi-disciplinary team.
Essential
- Formal mining engineering qualifications.
- Ability to support day to day mining operations with drill and blast design and scheduling.
- Prepare weekly mining plans.
- Experience working with a mining contractor.
- Assist with contractor claim review.
- Current Open C Class Drivers Licence.
Desirable
- WA Unrestricted Quarry Manager's certificate.
- Senior First Aid certificate.
- Experience in pit dewatering.
- Capability to assist survey.
- Targeted relevant experience is in the 5yrs to 10yrs range.

- Ability to communicate effectively mining plans to personnel.
