We are seeking experienced Electrical Coordinator to work within our clients brand new Gold Processing Plant. Our client is a Tier 1 mining house who require skilled, experienced and safety minded individuals.

Reporting to the Superintendent: Maintenance, you will be responsible for the coordination of electrical projects and maintenance work for all facilities and associated infrastructure to meet current and anticipated demand. Work will be carried out in accordance with the company standards whilst maintaining strict compliance with legislative and statutory requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Coordinator working with a mine processing plant environment
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability communicate across key stakeholders within the owner operators but also the lead electrical contractor
• Extensive experience with HD Motors and VSD’s
• The ability to oversee the EPC and provide commissioning support and sign off
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements by ensuring all works performed are within relevant laws and regulations
• The ability to work autonomously, follow expectation goals and targets set
• Assist executing electrical projects with demonstrated knowledge of reading plans, redlining electrical drawings as required
• Demonstrate sound financial acumen by ensuring cost performance is aligned with maintenance budgets and forecast expectations.
• Support Processing / Maintenance department with electrical and instrumentation technical support, in all operational aspects, including high, medium, low voltage and process control systems. Development of maintenance strategies, lead fault identification and improving life cycle performance activities

The qualifications/certifications required include:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a fixed plant mining environment essential
• Electrical Trades Certificate
• WA Electrical Licence & Electrical Nominee Essential
• HV Switching & Controls Licence
• Experience with DCS Control Systems
• Full Driving Licence
• First Aid & CPR
• Ability to pass a full medical including Drug & Alcohol screen
