About the role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll be based in our busy Muswellbrook branch working with Cummins’ high-horse power (HHP), On-Highway and Power Generation products.
We also run things a bit differently at our Muswellbrook branch; we are a 24/7 operation and you’ll take part in a 12hour rotating shift roster (2/3-day shifts and 2/3-night shifts), then 4/5 days off.
Key responsibilities- Be responsible for field service support to a wide variety of Cummins customers
- Complete mechanical and electrical diagnosis, trouble shooting and repairs on our customers sites or in the field
- Perform predominately breakdown maintenance tasks ensuring our customers are back up and running
- Be the go to person as our customers technical liaison
- Keep all records and documentation up to date
- Participate in skills and product training to expand your capabilities across our engine range
- Put safety first, every day
- A Heavy Diesel trade qualification and current NSW Drivers Licence (Minimum C-Class) is essential
- Experience in the service and maintenance of high-horse power engines is required
- Cummins experience and/or previous field service exposure would be highly regarded
- Ideally situated at least 50km surrounding Muswellbrook as you’ll be doing field service
- Relocation support may be considered for suitable candidates
- Absolute commitment to Health and Safety of yourself and others
- Solid diagnostic capabilities
- A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
