About the Role
WorkPac are seeking a Control System Engineer
Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for
• Control Systems Engineer to support Cape Lambert Ports, as part of the Asset Management & Engineering Services division of Rio Tinto Iron Ore.
• Provide technical and troubleshooting support to operations and maintenance teams
• Support other engineers and teams in the development and execution of capital upgrade projects, ensure projects are meeting RTIO standards and site requirements
• Support the ongoing maintenance of control systems assets including PLCs, servers, network and communication equipment, and field devices.
Skills and Experience
• Technical Document Development ( Engineering Drawings, Scope of Works, Functional specifications, Procedures, Commissioning plans)
• PLC Configuration ( Schneider Unity, GE Proficy) and SCADA Configuration ( Wonderware, Citect)
• Network Equipment Configuration
• Experienced on Cape Lambert high level control systems – Task Management System, Wonderware HMI, Server infrastructure
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with at least 1 year in mining and exposure to iron ore port operations
