Our client is a base and precious metals focused mining company with a developing operation in NSW. On their behalf, we are searching for an experienced Safety Advisor.
Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of risk management policies and programs. Assist employees understand occupational health and safety procedures, monitor and audit the workplace, and record and investigate incidents to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.
We require qualifications in a safety related discipline, Cert IV in Training and Assessing, as well as several years’ experience in a similar mining focused role. Experience in underground mining will be highly regarded.
