The Company
Our Client is an International Market Leader with over 50 years' experience in the development, production, and sales, of equipment and vehicles for underground mining and tunnel construction, providing a comprehensive range of Life-Time Care services for their widespread range of mobile equipment.

The Role
On behalf of our Client, we are recruiting for a suitable trade-qualified HD Fitters to join their workshop team. Ideally you will already be residing in/ near Kalgoorlie WA or willing to relocate.

The job will be working within the maintenance team to repair and maintain underground machines and equipment and will be mostly workshop-based with an element of site work, as required. Working hours per day are usually 10-12 hours, Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend work.

Skills and Experience:

• Diesel Mechanical Fitter trade qualifications with a minimum of 1 years' experience (ideally on underground machines)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Commitment to safe work practices and working within a maintenance team
• Must be flexible, able to prioritise, and be willing and able to do any level of maintenance repair job
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Be able to acquire a National Police Clearance (if requested)
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol test
