The Program Performance Analyst is an integral role within the Program Management Team with a key focus on building annual budgets, monitoring financial performance and program status of delivery partners ensuring alignment with Strategic Asset Management’s strategy, corporate plan and operating within the constraints of TasNetworks strategic objectives.
This role works independently within their assigned program portfolio, totally accountable for the pro-active monitoring, status reporting and LEOY forecasting.

To be successful in this role, you will have substantial experience in the financial analysis, management and reporting of a large program of work, ideally have worked in a large safety focused business, and be adaptable and embracing for ever-changing situations. You need to possess significant commercial knowledge, and have a real dedication and drive to get the job done. A continual improvement focus and business excellence tilt is essential.
Skills You Need
Education / Qualifications
- Adanced diploma or equivalent professional experience (e.g. Program Management) acquired through at least five years performing a similar role in the workplace
- Diploma in Project Management or equivalent experience
Knowledge
- knowledge and experience to understand business and commercial drivers, to create solutions and manage workload effectively
- ability to perform risk analysis and financial analysis – job costing, estimations and financial management
- well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
Experience
- at least 5 years’ experience in project or program management
- experience in negotiation & management of stakeholder interests utilising highly developed interpersonal and communications skills
- experience in industry plant and equipment and plant/system operations
- highly developed analytical skills, attention to detail and report writing
- ability to understand technical inputs to the capital works program, and factors affecting its delivery
- ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation and at all levels
- demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities, work to tight deadlines and make independent decisions
- a high level of competence using Works Management Systems and Microsoft applications (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel)
