Mechanical Drafter required in Wingfield with design experience in hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems.

Your new company
Located 25 minutes North of Adelaide, our client has a large contract to build Hydraulic Power Units for the mining sector. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Drafter with experience working on hydraulic/electro-hydraulic systems for an immediate start. The position is a 3-6 month role with the possibility for ongoing work.


Your new role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design and improvement of sections of the HPU systems. This will include working with and creating hydraulic and electrical schematics using Inventor, Creo and AutoCAD.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering / Drafting
• Experience working on hydraulic/electro-hydraulic systems
• Proficient in creating understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Proficient with Australian standards for drawing, welding and fabrication
• Knowledge of Mathcad is added advantage
• Knowledge of working/designing Hydraulic Power Packs is an added advantage
• Currently in Adelaide or able to relocate at short notice.
