We are actively seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Supply Co-Ordinator to join us in our West African Operations on a permanent roster of 8 weeks on site and 4 weeks home.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all purchasing and logistics functions on site
- Required to control the receiving, storage and usage of materials on site
- Handling of inbound and outbound sea, road and air freight consignments
- Maintaining documentation, stock registers
- Providing reports as required
- High standard of housekeeping is upheld in the store and laydown area.
We are looking for an active person who has experience in a similar role within the underground mining industry and ideally experienced working abroad (preferably Africa) with nationals whose first language is not English.
You must also have a valid driving license, forklift ticket, be proficient with MS Office programs and be a confident user of ERP software (Pronto, Eclipse, SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards). A proactive attitude toward safety is imperative.
