A leading maritime services group with operations on Sydney Harbour has a position for a hands-on HSEQ Manager.   

Reporting to the Executive Director, your key tasks will include:

• Management of an established Integrated Management System (IMS) for Quality, Environment and Workplace Health & Safety.
• Overseeing staff and contractor compliance, documentation and reporting.
• Establishment, organising and overseeing the maintenance of plant & equipment. 
• Overseeing of accident & incident procedures, including return to work  coordination as required.  
• Conducting & documentation of regular Compliance and Staff Toolbox Meetings.
• Regular reporting to management on IMS compliance matters and/or concerns.    

The person we seek would have:

• Recognised Workplace Health & Safety qualifications.
• Knowledge of respective ISO Quality & Environment standards, and AS/NZA Workplace Health & Safety standards.  
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role, ideally including maritime services or industrial engineering.
• Good people and communication skills, and ability to influence people that are not directly under your control. 
• A positive attitude, and ability to make things happen.
• Competency with MS Office products.
