CPM is the company behind Sino Iron, already Australia’s largest magnetite operation, located on Western Australia’s Pilbara coast, south of Karratha.

We’re spearheading a new downstream processing industry for the nation, transforming magnetite iron ore into a high-grade, premium export product.

Sino Iron is a fully integrated operation – featuring a mine serviced by the biggest haul trucks in the world, a six-line concentrator and port terminal facilities at nearby Cape Preston. Our state-of-the-art power station and desalination plant are among the largest in the State.

The opportunity

We’re seeking a driven Master Data Specialist to support our Heavy Machinery Equipment (HME) team based in our Perth office working Monday to Friday. This role is offered on a maximum term basis with an end date of 31 December 2019.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting in the modelling and building of the Asset master Data
• Loading asset structures for mining and processing equipment
• Loading preventive maintenance task lists, plans and component change schedules
• Supporting administering plant maintenance master data changes
• Reviewing plant maintenance data for accuracy and improvements
• Involvement in asset strategy development and budgeting

We are seeking applications from suitably experienced individuals who possess knowledge of asset structuring in SAP for mining operations, with at least 5 years of work experience in SAP plant maintenance in planning and master data loading, and are familiar with mining equipment in similar operations. 

A qualification in SAP Plant Maintenance is an essential requirement and qualifications in bulk upload programmes such as IBIP and LSMW is an added advantage.

You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be a self-starter with the ability to adapt, work under pressure and time constraints. A high level of computer literacy is essential with proficiency in Excel and MS project highly regarded.

A current WA Manual Drivers licence is an essential requirement
