Bureau Veritas, a leading supplier of technical and analytical services to the Australian Coal Industry, has opportunities for people to join our team in the Mudgee / Gulgong area.
Your duties will include operating specialised equipment and performing manual tasks to prepare coal samples for laboratory analysis.
To be successful in the role you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
• Reliable and able to work weekends & shift work
• Able to multi task and have a methodical, well organised approach to your work
• Good maths and computer skills including MS Excel
• Able to lift heavy items in excess of 15kg
• Live locally
• Hold a NSW manual driver's licence
• Strong work ethic
All on-the-job training will be provided. These positions operate on a life style roster including both day, night and weekend shifts. This is a great opportunity to get solid experience in the mining industry.
Candidates must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.
These positions are casual roles but high performers may be offered permanent full time employment.
