Job tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for enthusiastic experienced boilermakers to become valued members of our team in the Mount Thorley Warkworth workshops. You will be responsible for the execution of planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and machine rebuilds.
This role is a great opportunity to contribute to productivity and continuous improvement initiatives in mobile equipment maintenance and rebuild areas of our business. You will be working on the following equipment Komatsu; 830 AC, DC Trucks, Cat 789, 795 Trucks, Water Carts, Cat Graders, Track Dozers, D11T, Letourneau Loaders, Cat Scrapers and a range of Cat Rubber Tyre Dozers. Working a rotating 7 day roster. One of the main responsibilities of this role is to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the agreed quality standard.
Skills and experience
Essential Criteria:
- Boilermaker/Welder trade qualifications
- Substantial mining, manufacturing or heavy industry experience
Desirable criteria
- SAP experience
- Previous OEM experience and diagnostic/fault finding experience
- Industry relevant qualifications (high risk tickets)
- Knowledge of planning / scheduling and risk assessment processes
- AS1554 P5 certification
