Based in Wangara, Perth the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for all Production workshops and Inventory Control.
  • Responsible for all Site and / or Service work (both on and offshore).
  • Responsible for all Non-Contract repair / service business.
  • Provide Technical support to all Production workshops.
  • Carry out continuous improvement exercises and endeavour to improve efficiency and profitability throughout the facility.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and general housekeeping of all team members are maintained to a high standard.
  • Responsible for ensuring all financial and delivery performance targets are met.
  • Responsible for the investigation and close out of all Production related issues and the implementation of any preventative measures resulting from the subsequent investigations.
  • Carry out weekly Production meetings to ensure contractual target dates are being met and address any internal issues within Production accordingly.
  • Approval of Purchase Orders and Contract Reviews for all Repair / Service jobs as required.
  • Responsible for conducting all Team Leader Appraisals within the allocated time frame.
  • Responsible for the organisation and assistance of all high profile workscopes which come through the facility.
  • Responsible for planning and provision of personnel & equipment to all clients for site and offshore activities.
  • Responsible for the problem solving of any problematic or high profile valves going through production to ensure contractual delivery dates are achieved and wasted resources minimised.
  • Check and sign off invoices for all repair and non-contract service jobs.
  • Deal with the day to day personnel issues.
  • Endeavour to increase our Non Contract business where possible.
  • Conduct toolbox talks for the mobilisation of personnel to site and/or offshore.
  • Compiling procedures / method statements for site or offshore workscopes.
  • Carrying out client interface for general activities and / or High profile workscopes where HAZID’s, Peer Review’s etc are required.
  • Ensure sufficient and competent personnel cover is in place for nightshift and weekends to cover all eventualities.
  • Compile monthly financial performance report for BASE in the absence of the Works Manager.
