About the role


We are seeking a Superintendent Analysis and Improvement to join the Production Coal team at Goonyella Riverside on a 5 days on / 2 days off roster. Reporting to the Manager Production Coal, you will have the opportunity to showcase your business improvement and analytical skills and make this role your own. You will be a critical link between the Production Coal Manager and the Site Leadership Team, ensuring performance outcomes across the Production departments are met and processes are continually improved.

 

In this role you will:

       

•          Perform the role of a Single Point of Accountability for prioritisation of department-specific initiatives and work plans

•             Develop, maintain and implement site wide process improvement strategies, ensuring compliance to process;

•          Leads, coaches, and mentors team members to ensure delivery against performance targets and improvement plans

•             Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with and the continual improvement of the Safety Health Management Systems;

•          Provides leadership, guidance and direction to A&I Specialists in executing their role supporting the department’s execution processes

•         Assist to develop and embed a culture of financial based decisions that guide the department to achieve key site targets 

 

About you

•             Tertiary or trade qualification with production or processing experience

•             Experience in role where you’ve led teams through change and continuous improvement

•             Technical background, with demonstrated experience in effective data analysis and reporting

•             Ability to lead a highly professional technical team

•             Adept at dealing with ambiguity and influencing without formal authority

•             The ability to work autonomously while still maintaining stakeholder engagement and relationship management
