Hire Assistant – Flexihire Loganholme

The Role

Since 1978 Flexihire has been providing quality equipment hire services throughout Queensland.

We aim to provide modern well maintained hire equipment at a competitive price when our customers need it.

Flexihire is currently seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Hire assistant to join the team in our established Loganholme branch. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to think on their feet in a fast paced environment.   

Ideally the candidate will live or be willing to move to the Southside of Brisbane as this position requires a dedicated local presence.

The Candidate

Your Responsibilities will include;

• Providing professional customer service as a first point of contact
• Supporting  branch performance to achieve sales and profit targets
• Scheduling equipment hire and associated tasks
• Coordinating equipment transportation
• Planning day to day operations to ensure quality service to our customers
• Support all day to day operations in the branch, including maintenance and transportation of hire equipment

We are looking for an individual who has;

• Excellent verbal, written and telephone communications skills
• An adaptable personality
• Strong computer skills
• Multi-tasking ability
• Basic Mechanical aptitude
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Forklift licence will be highly regarded but is not essential
• Truck licence will be highly regarded but is not essential
