Your new company
Our client is Australia's largest coal producer and exporter with several mine sites located across the Bowen Basin in Queensland. This company currently has an opportunity available for an Experienced HV Electrician to start on site working a family friendly lifestyle rotating roster.
Your new role
Our client is seeking HV Electricians that have experience working on a QLD Coal Mine. Transportation is available for suitable candidates along with the option of LAHA residential housing allowance for those wishing to relocate their families.
This role will see you reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for carrying out the repairs, diagnosis and maintenance to mobile plant, fixed plant and infrastructure of the mine in accordance with Safe Work Procedures and manufacturer's specifications.
What you'll need to succeed
• Trade Qualified HV Electrician
• Coal Mining experience - Essential
• Standard 11 Induction (or willing to obtain)
• Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
• Must live within safe travelling distance of the Blackwater region
• Proven experience in repairing and maintaining: Haul Trucks, Electric Shovels, Hydraulic Excavators and Coal Haulers.
This assignment will reward you with an excellent hourly rate, and gain further experience in the industry. This project is an ongoing assignment working a 5/4, 5/5, 4/5 Rotating Roster with NO PJ days required.
