Maintenance Supervisor – Capcoal Surface Operations
Capcoal Opencut Operations is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who possesses the drive and passion to develop a culture focused on safety and efficiency that will deliver a high availability and reliability to our fleet of Field equipment.
Your number one priority in this role will be the safety of the maintenance team. You will deliver this by building a team culture that is engaged to improve and deliver safe maintenance activities. You will be able to ensure that all mechanical maintenance tasks will be carried out in a safe, timely and cost effective manner. Your focus on continuous improvement, strong leadership skills and knowledge of computer based maintenance programs will ensure both high equipment availability and reliability.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead teams of trades' people to deliver planned corrective and unplanned maintenance on Capcoal fleet of Field equipment. Through your demonstrated leadership skills you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business to achieve the maintenance availability targets and other KPI's. You will be passionate about motivating and engaging others as you lead your team to achieve these targets through complying with site standards and procedures. Your dedication to health and safety will be evident through your work history.
To be successful in this role you must have a strong understanding of open cut mining equipment and mining techniques, the open cut coal mining environment and statutory requirements. You will possess mechanical trade qualifications; relevant supervisory experience and completion of S1, S2, S3 are the minimum requirements for the role. Experience and exposure to Excavators, Draglines, Drills, CAT and Komatsu equipment will be highly regarded. The successful applicant will be driven by equipment availability and the ability to focus on maintenance costs, workplace efficiency and will be committed to Zero Harm.
This is a full time permanent role working on a 7-day roster arrangement.
