If yes, come join us! We're looking for a Junior Product Manager/Junior Buyer to join the Rockwear team based in Waterloo, Sydney.

What you will be responsible for:

• Deliver financial KPI’s: $ Sales, GP$, and IMU% (1st Margin % targets)
• Trade categories in-season strategies to optimize product performance and maximize commercial opportunities
• Develop and deliver commercial, trend relevant product that reflects our brand & target customer
• Manage product end-to-end from initial concept to delivery to stores
• Prepare product tech/quote packs for supplier costings
• Lead quote process ensuring price, margins & quality targets are met
• Manage critical path lead-times ensuring on- time delivery
• Approve product in line with original brief ensuring garments meet brand and quality standards
• Manage all phases of the product lifecycle incl fabric, wash, colour, strike off, trim, artwork, fit, PP and shipping sample approval with assistance by Product Coordinator (shared resource)
• Build relationships with suppliers developing win/win relationships
• Introduce new suppliers based on category/ sourcing gaps
• Conduct regular store visits building knowledge of the Rockwear customer and apply to trading/product development decisions
• Understand competitor’s product assortment, pricing structure, customer profile and act on relevant SWOT observations

The ideal candidate will possess these skills and qualities:

We are looking for someone with +4 years product development/retail buying experience

• Womenswear apparel experience is essential
• Must be passionate about product and have a natural flair for product and trend
• Technical experience across fit, construction and fabric are a must
• Evidence of influencing product discussions and outcomes
• Blend between creative and analytical skills 
• High attention to detail and strength in execution
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Be organized and take a planned approach to workload 
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and deliver within deadlines
• Ability to work in a team driven environment
• Have a "Can-Do" /"Above  & Beyond" attitude
• Be flexible to change, be professional and positive
• Strong foundation in Microsoft/Illustrator/ Photoshop
