Australia’s leading day spa brand – endota spa, is looking for the best Business Development Manager to join our talented Spa Operations team.  We have over 100 spas across Australia and are looking for a dynamic individual to partner with our equally dynamic business owners and spa teams.

The business development team supports our spa owners to maximize their profitability and builds engagement to our brand’s initiatives and standards.  In addition, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for building spa manager capability and maximizing the profitability of a portfolio of company-owned endota spas across their territory.

This role will support a portfolio of Vic/Tas based franchise and company owned spas across both regional and metro areas.   The successful candidate will be required to work from a home office with a strong connection back to our Support Centre located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, and the broader endota team.

The role:

  • develops quality partnerships with - and provides practical support to our owners, helping them drive their spa profit through insightful business coaching and guidance in line with the endota spa franchise model
  • works collaboratively with our company spa teams to build capability, drive best practice and deliver profitable results in line with the endota business plan
  • monitors compliance and protects spa standards, ensuring the endota spa brand delivers a consistently high-quality experience for our customers

Travel within Victoria/Tasmania is a key requirement within the BDM’s designated territory.

The successful candidate:

  • Builds high quality, value adding relationships with their owners and spa teams; understands that their own success is all about their spas’ success
  • Demonstrates maturity, resilience, and can establish the respect of their partners;
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoys working with others to influence results;
  • Has a high level of financial acumen built around key retail metrics; understands profit and loss statements;
  • Has sound operational experience and demonstrated ability to drive change
  • Is energetic, people focused, positive and flexible.
  • Takes on challenges with a can-do attitude and a solution driven focus
  • Is naturally goal focused with a drive for achieving results

The relevant background:

  • Skincare, spa and/or retail industry experience will be highly valued as will prior experience within a Franchise system or small business environment;
  • Multi site experience is a must
