WHAT IS THE ROLE?
Buzz is a full service agency encompassing ideation, design, prototyping, manufacturing, testing and logistics. This is a critical role which will be responsible for building and implementing our sourcing strategy.
- Sourcing new suppliers and maintaining relationships across multiple product lines including textiles, amenity bags, printing, meal service
- Ability to work with suppliers on continuous improvement plans, automation and improving efficiencies
- Building on supplier relationships
- Driving key projects with suppliers ensuring Quality, delivery and compliance are met
- Preparing suppliers for client visits
- Attending sourcing fairs.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for someone with:
- 10 – 15 years' experience in Global sourcing of consumer goods
- Ability to set up factories in best practise to deliver on business KPI's
- Understanding of manufacturing process
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to value add through automation and improving efficiencies
- Availability to travel 4- 6 times annually.
