About the role
We’re recruiting for an Aussie fashion brand with over $150k followers on Instagram. Their designs are popular with the likes of major influencers like Sammy Robinson.


The brand is headed up by a close-knit team of fashion fanatics who are based just outside of Sydney’s CBD (10 minutes from Central Station). They are looking for an ambitious and trend-conscious individual to support the senior team with the following activities: merchandising and managing their design showroom, overseeing all their wholesale orders, designing storyboards for new collections, using their EDI system to process wholesale orders, and producing sales reports.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who is bright, efficient, and happy to be hands on. It is a rare opportunity to get involved in a diverse range of tasks and to learn how a growing a successful fashion brand truly functions.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to come from a retail/wholesale background and have a fantastic understanding of the industry. It would be great if you had some existing admin or support experience, but this is not a necessity. We are happy to hear from ambitious retail staff who know their brands and are quick to learn.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and managing the Showroom in advance of Buyer’s visits - this will include VM, ranging and catering.
  • Acting in a key support capacity to the Wholesale Sales team, assisting with admin, system updates and order processing.
  • Working with the Production and Dispatch teams to ensure that all deliveries run on time and smoothly.
  • Storyboarding for new collections.
  • Assisting in the creation of visual content/display material - includes creating sketches for new designs or prints in Illustrator.
  • Collating customer feedback and sharing this with the design team.


Role Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience - must come from a fashion, retail or wholesale background.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills; both verbal and written.
  • Fantastic knowledge of the fashion industry.
  • Can-do attitude! We are looking for someone bright, optimistic and hungry to learn.
