Manager Retail Operations

As part of our continued growth and development in the Kyogle area, we seek a self-managed and dynamic retail manager for our busy Kyogle store

The main focus of this position is to support the Business owner to undertake;

  • Day to day supervision and management of the Kyogle store
  • All roles of customer support and service
  • Develop rosters, undertake banking, ordering, stock management
  • Maintain staff and customer regimes of health, safety, cleanliness and security
  • Ensure tasks are completed, identify training needs for staff, meet with Representatives (suppliers)
  • Ensure stock levels are correct, ordering needs identified and display shelves complete

Generally

  • Capacity to effectively manage the retail operations of the store, providing efficient input and completions as regards
    • Banking, cash sheets, and related bookwork
    • Communication – verbal, email and reports
    • Pride in shop presentation of shop
    • Coordination support to staff

o    Maintenance of store standards and expectations

o    Best practice customer service

 

You will have;

Proven customer service and communication to undertake retail sales role

Capacity to work independently (but as part of a team)

Computer and software skills

Understanding of the direct retail or related and relevant industry

Demonstrated experience with customer management

Capacity to effectively resolve issues and negative responses from clients

Quality communication with a range of customers and clients

Presentation that reflects pride in individual performance

Punctuality, reliability, capacity to respond to the needs of the business

We will negotiate an attractive package to suit the needs of the business and both parties' expectations
