About The Role

Reporting into the Head of Sales Planning, the Sales Planning Manager exists to lead a team of analysts in delivering baseline and promotional sales forecasts, accurately predicting the purchasing behaviours of customers for items at both full retail and promotional price. The forecast forms the platform for our store and supplier stock ordering algorithms.

A summary of key responsibilities will include, however not be limited to:

  • Engage and motivate team to ensure that forecasting inputs are of a high standard, interventions are minimised and correct decisions are made

  • Drive continual improvement of robust forecasting methodologies and processes, including upskilling team and configuring algorithms as required

  • Influence all business areas to ensure best possible accuracy of the sales forecast critical for serving our customers
