ROLE
This role manages the day-to-day social media activities for the business as well as our clients across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & YouTube.The candidate should have an excellent knowledge of social media from a commercial perspective & be up to date on domestic political, social justice & current affairs. The candidate should have a working knowledge of image creation & copy formulation from a social media context.
We work on some of the largest campaigns at a state & national level alongside industry leaders including Not-for-profit, infrastructure, Mining, Entertainment & Transportation.
Curious Minds is in the business of providing technology and social-media related engagement solutions to a variety of industry leaders. Curious Minds has its own digital media solutions as well as a roster of clients for whom it runs high impact campaigns for. The work is fast paced with high volume contact rates which can change very quickly based on the shifting nature of the campaigns the team is working on. The candidate will join a highly skilled team who are passionate about their work.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Ideally the candidate has a journalism, communications, Not for profit marketing or social media background. While tertiary qualifications are important, the ability to create effective engagements at short intervals is the key qualifier for the role.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Social media engagement
- Proactively engage with the general public on a daily basis in order to influence their position in regards to our campaign work
Copy creation
- Develop copy for Twitter, Facebook & Instagram in support of our engagement and campaign work
Content creation
- Develop imagery & do minor editing for twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube in support of our engagement and campaign work
Research
- Research popular media & analysis so as to have a strong knowledge of the topic on hand to support our engagement work
