Marketing Data Coordinator and Analyst

Position Purpose / Objective

LEAP is the leading legal practice management software provider in Australia, targeted at small firms of 1-25 legal and conveyancing professionals. We provide technology that helps lawyers be efficient and productive, so that they can better-help their clients. Whether it’s our online collaboration tool or mobile application, we ensure our clients can work effectively in an increasingly-online world.

As the Data Coordinator and Analyst you will be an integral part of LEAP’s Marketing Team. You will be responsible for our client and prospect database, enabling targeted campaigns through marketing automation systems and providing invaluable insights to Marketing and Sales. Day-to-day you’ll be collaborating with other marketing experts who are experienced across design, content, social, web and more.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be highly skilled in using Salesforce, marketing automation software (Pardot, Marketing Cloud) and Excel with a willingness to learn new systems. Your passion for finding data trends and insights will see you creating and implementing data-driven ideas, providing value to the whole business.

What you will be focusing on
 

  • Providing ideas to generate MQLs and increase client satisfaction, both within and outside data management and analysis.
  • Delivering detailed reporting and insights to support digital content, campaign development and data-driven marketing.
  • Regularly reporting of results relating to marketing campaigns.
  • Managing client and prospect data in Salesforce:
    • Reactive and proactive data maintenance to ensure accuracy of information stored
    • Building custom reports to solve Marketing and Sales challenges
    • Delivering insights on client characteristics and behaviours
  • Using marketing automation software (Pardot and Marketing Cloud) to build the technical side of marketing campaigns:
    • Creating static and dynamic lists, campaign logic and sophisticated data segmentation
    • Creating forms, including progressive profiling
    • Building email journeys/drip campaigns
    • Creating landing pages and managing data extensions (Marketing Cloud only)
    • Setting up automation of data back into Salesforce and associated tasks/notifications based on user interactions with campaigns
  • Conducting infrequent training sessions on how to use Salesforce and maintain high quality data standards

What you’ll need to be successful

You will be a creative problem-solver with an inquisitive mind, strong technical skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. You are passionate about improving others’ projects through data management and insight, and possess the following skills and qualities:

 

  • Strong time management skills, including discernment of which projects are of greatest value to the company and Marketing Team.
  • The motivation to constantly learn and develop better ways of tracking and reporting information.
  • Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to positively impact Sales & Marketing Teams with jargon-free language.
  • A love of collaboration, both within the Marketing Team and other departments.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An inquisitive and analytical mind to develop data-based strategies and drive data usage within the team.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience using in a data-centric role, using marketing technology such as Pardot, Marketing Cloud and Salesforce.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, IT or data science preferred.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and AMP Scripting preferred.
