The Organisation

We are looking for a full-time SEO & Adwords Expert to join our favourite Independent Digital Agency, focusing on all things digital. After all, they live, breathe, work and play, everything digital!

The Opportunity

As a Lead Search Specialist, this valued role will be primarily responsible for implementation of various search strategies. The position requires you to have a detailed understanding of both organic and paid search, demonstrated experience of successful conversion rate optimisation techniques and a thorough understanding of Google guidelines.

Reporting in to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing several clients across a wide range of industries to achieve positive online results. It is a requirement of this role that you are comfortable meeting with clients and developing online strategies independently and in consultation with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform keyword research, gather data & build lists of targeted key phrases
• Develop and support agency's planning and strategy team for short and long term goals to achieve positive ROI for clients
• Run technical website audits in accordance with the agency's SOP's
• Help craft "to-do" lists for fixing items discovered in technical website audits
• Discover & evaluate organic competitors on an ongoing basis
• Identify areas for on-site improvements in site structure, internal linking, and content / quick win assessments
• Apply on-page optimisation by uploading new content, crafting page titles, meta descriptions and other HTML tags
• Preparing, checking and reporting on all digital campaigns, prepare reports showing work in progress, identify weaknesses or lost opportunities
• Compiling in-depth monthly reports showing traffic acquisition and traffic behaviour per channel segmented by important secondary dimensions
• Detailed guidelines and recommendations for content writers

You need to possess these specific skills:

• You should have a passion in all things search/Google, and internet marketing
• 3 years' plus experience working in a similar search role
• Demonstrated knowledge of Google Analytics & Google Webmaster Tools
• Demonstrated knowledge of WordPress and/or HTML/CSS and web content editing
• Basic working knowledge of at least 2 of the following: Moz, ahrefs, SEMRus
• A good knowledge of the principles of marketing
• You must be able to grasp technical concepts quickly
