Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced permanent full time Social Media Officer to join the Brand and Communications Group, based in Gladstone.

This role will oversee social media communities and campaigns with responsibilities which include but are not limited to research, campaign and content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting.  This role will strive to achieve high-level community engagement, brand and channel consistency, and information clarity and will contribute to and execute the social media strategy.

About you

  1. Tertiary qualifications in digital and/or social media marketing and/or demonstrated relevant experience and sound disciplined skills gained from working in a similar professional social and/or marketing role.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of the underlying principles of digital marketing and social media and trends including the ability to develop online acquisition and retention campaigns that result in lead conversions.
  3. Effective communication (verbal and written English) skills and demonstrated experience writing engaging online copy which enhances community engagement and facilitates online product conversion.
  4. Proven experience in social media community management and responding to a high volume of online customers.
