Marketing Coordinator
The iconic Balcony Bar at Byron has a rare and exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join its team. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator, preferably with venue experience and a thorough knowledge of the Byron area.
We are open to a full time or part time role.
About the role:
Reporting to the venue Licensee and Group Marketing Manager, this role will assist with all facets of marketing the business and will include:
- Advertising
- Digital marketing and social media
- Manage event strategy and marketing
- PR
- Local area marketing, community engagement & relationship building
- Artwork & graphics management
- Budget & financial management
- Database management
- Campaign reporting & measurement
- Assist with the strategy, development and execution of key calendar events
- Manage event processes from enquiry, through to conversion and execution
About you:
As a self-motivated, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:
- Local community engagement & knowledge
- Great time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- Social and outgoing personality
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required
- Hospitality background preferred although not essential
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar role
- Marketing qualification preferred
