About the organisation:
This government agency based in Southwest Sydney are committed to improvement for the community through their digital and marketing presence. Due to major transformation this organisation is focused on innovation and enhancing their footprint in the local community.
About the role:
They are now looking for a Digital Strateist to facilitate community engagement with local residents, businesses and key stakeholders through digital communication platforms.
The duties:
As the Digital Strategist your responsibilities will include:
- Research and evaluate new opportunities for digital engagement
- Roll out creative ideas and present a strategic plan to Management
- Manage website administration to promote online engagement activities
- Work with IT to develop new community platforms
- Present information to relevant groups, business stakeholders, local community
To be considered for this position you must have:
- CREATIVITY! You are walking, talking ideas machine!
- Professional passion for online media including website and app channels
- Tertiary qualified: Communications, Public Relations or equivalent
- Proven Digital experience in multi-platform campaigns
- Report writing skills
- Demonstrated experience in working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends (once in a Blue Moon!).
You will be proactive, have proven and demonstrated experience in executing Digital Engagement strategies and produce business cases including your recommendations.
