It’s an exciting time for Discovery Parks. Since our inception in 2004 we have experienced extensive growth. We currently own and operate around 250 Holiday and Workforce Parks throughout Australia and employ over 1100 people within these parks. Discovery Parks has recently acquired Australia’s largest network of parks – Top Parks. This role works across all three consumer brands.

 The Role

Discovery Parks is the leading holiday park operator in Australia and growing fast. Our marketing strategy is integral to this growth, and we are currently looking for a Marketing Insights Analyst to work within our Marketing team.

We’re on the hunt for someone that thrives on deep diving into campaign analytics and campaign performance. You will be a a strong analytical marketer that understand the different channels and can measure the real ROI for delivering incremental revenue.

Your remit would include analysing the behaviour of our customer segments and providing insights on acquisition and retention strategies. You will provide analysis that is key to assessing the performance of marketing campaigns and their impact on our online and offline revenue targets.

Liaising closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, you will have a collaborative personal style, be commercial and possess superior analytical and presentation ability. A good understanding of marketing techniques, tools and developments would be useful, coupled with experience in data management tools and languages i.e. Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, Adobe Ad Cloud.

Your Experience

To be successful in this role you will not necessarily come from a pure web analytics background, but will have excellent, in-depth level of knowledge in digital marketing, along with experience in strategic and analytical management of marketing campaigns.

You will have a proven track-record in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketing objectives and experience in working within a marketing/business intelligence environment

High level of experience in measuring and analysing online marketing campaigns including: organic and paid search, eDM, affiliate, display, social and traditional media.

A Tertiary Qualification in Marketing and/or Analytics is highly desirable with 1-2 years’ experience minimum, as is previous experience working with Google Analytics, PowerBI, Adobe and Ad Cloud and other insight/data platforms.

You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, decisiveness, initiative, flexibility and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at Discovery Parks. Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders.
