We are currently looking for a highly motivated, professional Event Sales Executive to join our team based at the prestigious Sydney Town Hall.  Reporting to the Event Sales Manager, you'll be a sales-focused individual who has a passion for developing and nurturing relationships with existing and potential clients to drive function sales. You will have proven experience in sales and event coordination, with strong time-management, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

A day in the life of: 

• You'll drive functions revenue through the acquisition of new clients and repeat business
• Manage all incoming enquiries in a prompt and timely manner
• Prepare accurate documents including proposals, contracts, invoices and event orders
• Proactively follow-up active leads to maintain a strong sales pipeline and conversion rate
• Complete full event coordination cycle for some events
• In collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Manager, create tailored client packages to maximise revenue growth
• Complete sales and marketing administrative tasks 
• Represent the company at relevant trade shows and industry events as required
• Work closely with our Melbourne Museum team to achieve shared goals

 The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years experience in a comparable environment
• Commercially savvy with the ability to identify and deliver on growth opportunities
• Positive and supportive with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Excellent at developing effective relationships with individuals at all levels, from diverse backgrounds, cultures and locations
• Passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
• Great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Self-motivated and an excellent communicator with the ability to problem-solve effectively
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with Priava desirable
