Acer Computer Australia is seeking a highly-motivated and proactive Marketing Communications Manager to join their Marketing team.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ownership of Acer's marketing communications strategies
• Ensure marketing planning and PR strategies support and align with business objectives
• Monitor latest technologies and methods for effectively communicating  with Acer customers
• Work with Product and  Sales teams to understand Acer’s product offers and target audience
• Implement and manage the company’s local as well as global marketing projects
• Manage marketing communication initiatives; internal and external communications; special events, promotions, etc.
• Prepare and submit reports on the performance of Acer marketing campaigns and competitor activities
• Manage marketing/advertising agencies to ensure Service Level Agreements are deivered
• Work closely with global and regional marketing  teams to create appropriate, timely deliverables.
• Manage partner funding and ensure ROI from both sides is achieved

Candidates must have the following skills:

• Proven experience implementing marketing and communications strategies with quantifiable results.  
• Social Media /Digital marketing experience is a must
• Experience in working in a dynamic  technology environment

• Exceptional engagement skills and alliance partner management experience
• Must have an in-depth understanding of brand value
• Advanced knowledge of on-line marketing tools and the ever-changing digital marketplace
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be an effective team leader with ability to work across functional work groups
• A degree in Marketing Communications will be an advantage
• Experience in territory / local marketing in corporate or agency is preferred
