About the role:

As a contributing member of the Steelx group marketing team, you will be accountable for managing the marketing and branding for THE Shed Company Franchise.

 

Functioning in an agency style account / project management role, you will assist THE Shed Company Business Manager, and partner with a growing team of franchisees (currently 30+) to:

  • Conduct exploration sessions with franchisees and other relevant stakeholders to understand the individual franchisee’s experience, objectives, and the nuances of their business.
  • Provide guidance and education on all things marketing and branding (digital + traditional).
  • Create and schedule content via social media and other channels.
  • Execute national and local area marketing campaigns in conjunction with the digital marketing specialist, and external agencies / providers.
  • Have intelligent, productive, and sometimes tough conversations to manage expectations and report on progress.

 

As the Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the administration of the marketing component of the franchise agreements, budgets, creating and pitching proposals, setting campaign expectations, as well as reporting and analysis. Strong analytical and reasoning skills will be a key requirement for this role.

 

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the group marketing team on both traditional and digital marketing strategies and execution. In this role, you will focus on delivering a systematic approach to brand marketing across the franchise group. You will achieve this through data-driven decision making and by leveraging best practices and shared experiences from across the business.

Desirable skills:

Digital or creative agency experience (account management / project management / digital), or relevant skill set.

 

Creative experience – ideation, concept development, campaign creation, storytelling, etc. The ability to pitch ideas with influence will be highly regarded.

 

Proven brand marketing experience, specifically brand differentiation, awareness, and growth.
