Are you passionate about PR and Design?
We are looking for a dedicated full-time PR Account Executive to join our team to support the PR Director on key accounts with a heavy focus on media relations.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
You’ll be a key member of our growing team using your PR skills and experience to work on campaign implementation, basic copywriting, pitching, reporting and client administration. You’ll be expected to have an interest in design and the value of design, be proactive in your approach, work efficiently and to a high standard and be results driven.
More specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
- PR Account maintenance
- Media relations
- Pitching story ideas
- Copywriting
- Creation and distribution of press-ready information and images
- Updating reports and databases
- Social media content development and management
So here’s what we’re looking for:
- You have a proven ability to work autonomously.
- You have the goods to deliver results.
- You have creative flair.
- You have an attention to detail bordering on the obsessive.
- You have a proactive attitude and can-do approach.
- You have the professional presentation needed to represent our brand.
- You have two years (minimum) of relevant experience in a PR agency.
- You want to take a step towards Account Management.
Basically, our ideal candidate will have:
- 1-2 years agency experience preferably working on design and/or lifestyle accounts.
- An interest in design and the value of design.
- Experience in maintaining social media accounts.
- Experience in event management.
- Pitching skills, both verbal and written.
- Copywriting and sub-editing skills.
- High levels of self-motivation, energy and drive to succeed.
- A friendly and positive approach and willingness to take on a challenge.
- A strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
- Professional presentation.
- The commitment and availability to work outside normal business hours when required.
