Our Brand team is responsible is searching for a Brand Manager  (who has marketing and brand management background) reporting to Head of Brand Marketing who will be an ambassador for the Foxtel masterbrand: its strategic translation to a coherent portfolio of content and products, and its creative translation to a distinctive brand language and iconography across all Foxtel’s touchpoints. This is an exciting, important role in the team of recent Brand transformation.

Your purpose

Some of the Key elements you’ll be responsible for driving are:

  • Bringing to life the brand identity for Foxtel, from the inside-out. With On-going workstreams in each business area to make a difference and deliver on it.
  • Rollout of the redesigned Brand including Language, Iconography and, ultimately, Experience across touchpoints – coherently – beyond communications to product and service experiences too.
  • With the support of the Project Management Office (PMO) and Brand agency Maud, work with all departments organization-wide to kill off all remaining confusing sub-brands, and assist with the organizing and socializing of Horizon 3 – the Tone of the Brand through workshops and support tools.
  • As this roles involves working with colleagues across the business and external channel partners, you’ll not only have an excellent eye for execution but equally a skill for collaboration, relationship- building and influence. You’ll engage people with a clear-mindedness about the Brand we want to be, and a positive, infectious energy for change. You’ll have a natural curiosity about different aspects of our subscription entertainment business, and you’ll get to know a fantastic cross-section of colleagues.
  • You will ensure guidelines are clear with check-in is with external partners like Telstra, Sony and non-FNA channels like MTV or SBS, to ensure that they are co-branding or marketing with direct reference to Foxtel.
  • You’ll keep a close eye on the metrics the Brand Transformation is intended to impact (Openness, NPS and their drivers), asking the key questions at the Brand Health quarterly debriefs to get under the skin of what’s happening and how we can make a bigger difference.
  • While the role doesn’t have direct reports, there is high leadership impact potential- given the scope of influence outlined above.
  • You will therefore have a real interest in developing your marketing leadership capability, and in particular leading the bigger picture for Foxtel, engaging with all the aspects of a business that a customer experiences.

 

Your capability

  • Tertiary level qualification in marketing or a related field.
  • Ideally 5-10 yrs total Marketing experience, with recent experience in a Leadership position.
  • Knowledge, interest and passion for Brand strategy and Brand Identities in action.
  • Experience with multi-media creative marketing materials: from brief to conception and delivery on time and in budget.
  • Strong project and budget management skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible, able to cope with changing work demands.
  • Good under pressure, and a good self-starter.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills – able to build strong relationships with people and be seen as a “go to” person for your area of accountability. Trusted and credible.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
  • Ever-curious to learn and develop.
  • Keep it fun.
