Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organisation running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.

Through internal communications, public relations and corporate communications, you’ll provide a wide range of marketing and communications services to internal and external audiences. The opportunity
Join our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team and you will directly support and promote our brand and reputation in the Sydney geographic market. Supporting the largest local market within our Australian operations, the Sydney BMC team enables our local partners to build brand, relationships and reputation deploying multiple channels and in multiple industry segments. 
Your key responsibilities
  • You will manage execution across channels as required (eg, client event and staff events, thought leadership, industry sponsorships, direct marketing, social and digital channels).
  • You will act as convenor and enabler alongside BMC colleagues, partners and staff of the firm in their roles as subject matter experts and client-serving professionals.
  • You will contribute proactively to the team marketing effort to continuously support a distinctive brand in the market, coming forward with ideas and the enthusiasm to investigate and apply best practice.
  • You will implement and share best practice marketing processes within the firm.
  • You will liaise and negotiate with internal (eg our facilities, catering and AV teams) and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop expert knowledge in and provide support for wider users of our internal technology platforms and CRM

To qualify for the role you must have
 
  • Experience in professional services or B2B environment
  • A qualified professional with a minimum 4 years experience in event planning, management and execution in a variety of sizes and formats
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (English)
  • Experience in writing invitations and other external facing materials
  • Ability to be self-motivated, solution focused, and experienced at managing internal and external client relationships at all levels
  • High aptitude and familiarity with e-marketing and use of online tools
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong negotiating skills, particularly with external suppliers / third parties
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team and to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • Previous CRM experience
