Position Objective

As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering our dealerships' strategic marketing and brand plans via the planning, direction and control of fully integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives designed to meet and exceed the business revenue. If you live and breathe marketing, we definitely want to talk to you. We are looking for someone to develop, implement, track and optimise our marketing campaigns across both traditional and digital channels. This role will see you working closely with our CEO and Branch Managers to drive business performance through the timely and consistent implementation and follow up of marketing strategy; adhering to deadlines and providing detailed reports. As Marketing Coordinator, you will set a clear direction for how our dealership will achieve its specific goals and smash targets.

You should have a strong understanding of available marketing tools and strategies and be proficient in leading integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Key Accountabilities

  • Represent the Green RV brand in a professional manner at all times.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, sales managers and branch managers.
  • Review progress of new sales throughout the company. This includes the accurate forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly Marketing streams.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key suppliers and Head Office. Assist the GSM with developing strategies for process improvement, increasing profitability and improving the customer experience.
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including marketing database, email, social media and text and display advertising campaigns (PPC).
  • Spearhead efforts to increase SEO visibility.
  • Build and maintain our social media presence.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns; assessing against goals such as ROI, ROAS and KPIs.
  • Attend trade shows and create displays that attract consumer attention and offer opportunity to gain consumer insight.
  • Identify trends and insights; optimise spend and performance based on these insights.
  • Develop new and creative growth strategies - such as strategic partnerships and tourism collaborations.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing Agency to ensure their marketing team has a comprehensive understanding of our business, current internal trends and industry trends.
  • Utilise your strong analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple marketing channels and consumer touch points.
  • Develop strategies to drive online traffic to our website.
  • Track conversion rates and make improvements to the website.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing Agency to improve the usability, design, content and conversion of our website.
  • Responsible for planning and budgetary control of marketing spend.
  • Liaise with company engaged external bloggers.
  • Prepare PR briefs.
  • Develop and manage customer exclusive programs in conjunction with the CEO - Owner Groups, VIP Programs etc.
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data - including analysis of Industry Research provided by industry bodies such as CIAA, TEQ, TA and VSC.
  • Identify and review new technologies to keep our company at the forefront of developments in marketing tactics - such as voice and messenger bots.
  • Build strong, professional working relationships with key tourism bodies, council and industry partners.
  • Build strong relationships with marketing, media and creative agencies.

Required Skills

  • Proven working experience in digital and traditional marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and text/display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in e-commerce.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels.
  • Understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
  • Experience with A/B Split-testing.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools - such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Previous experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Passion! You will need to have a love and understanding of the caravan and camping industry, travel and tourism in order to succeed in this role.
  • Exceptional internal & external stakeholder management.
  • Caravan dealership experience highly regarded.
  • Tourism experience highly regarded.
