TTI are currently recruiting for a Junior Product Manager to join the Outdoor Power Equipment team in our Mount Waverley office. This role reports to a Senior Product Manager and works closely with the senior sales and marketing teams. This role is pivotal in the development of new products and execution of the sales and marketing plans ensuring the company achieves our revenue and profit objectives.
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to the development of product strategies that drive sales growth while enhancing the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become a product expert for your respective categories and brands. Assist the Senior Product Manager with the following:
- Product specific communications
- Maintaining weekly & monthly presentations
- Analysing category performance
- Tracking product development schedules with overseas R&D teams
- Assist in creating product training materials and instructional videos
- Asses competitive market and benchmark competitive products
- Identifying new product opportunities or changes through review of competitor brands and retailers.
- Assist with the development of effective product mix and branding strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve the existing product range through research and analysis.
- Work with the Marketing team to create new ways to merchandise products and communicate benefits to end users.
- Provide support and assist with organization and setup of expos, road shows, and field days.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- High competency in Microsoft Office suite: Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and patterns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong willingness to be hands with the power equipment, with experience a bonus.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work autonomously when required.
- Excellent time management to switch between projects and prioritise them based on launch expectations and the financial impact.
- Relevant degree qualifications in marketing and/ or relevant experience
- Flexible to travel both domestically and internationally periodically
