A new opportunity has become available to develop and execute social media strategies in a large government body for 2018, working in a team of digital copywriters to drive customer engagement initiatives.
Client Details
Our client is one of the largest Government Bodies in NSW based in the CBD. Due to their expanding digital needs, a role is now available to sit within their digital team to develop and execute their social media strategy to assist with their digital initiatives and customer communication strategies.
Description
This opportunity will provide support to the marketing and campaigns team specialising around new projects to ensure the efficient delivery of content across their digital and online platforms. The role will include the following;
- Producing accurate, timely and engaging communications content to support a range of business requirements, ensuring tailoring and optimisation of content across multimedia channels, including social media, web and other digital platforms.
- Delivering search-friendly content, including strategic key word placement within copy that optimises content for indexing, ranking, click-throughs and conversions.
- Developing and refining of social media channels, including posting, moderation and amplification to exceed social objectives and create an exceptional user experience.
- Creating content, including planning and copywriting across multiple social channels, and engaging internal design resources to create informative and engaging communication.
- Identifying new content trends and the best use of infographics, interactive pages, dynamic designs, online tools and other resources to ensure delivery of digital and social content is best practice.
- Reporting and analysing social media key performance indicators to optimise content and tactics and increase engagement and action with the audience.
Profile
The successful candidate will possess;
- Strong website management and maintenance skills showcased in a previous role (Sharpoint or Drupal is preferred)
- Experienced Social media Management skills showcasing campaign management and implementing social media strategies;
- Expert long form copyrighting skills that are customer centric for web and online platforms;
- Previous experience working with WCAG 2.0 Compliance;
- Understands the link between content writing and SEO and SEM best practices;
- Strong internal stakeholder management skills and the ability to liaise with internal departments for collateral and communications.
Job Offer
- 6 months contract view for extension
- Work with a leading government agency
- $50.00 - $60.00 per hour + Super
