Reporting to the Plumbing VAP Brand Manager, you will be an accomplished communicator who can quickly adapt to working on development of the Reece brand and product portfolio. The portfolio includes leading international, domestic and home brands that are known and respected in the Australian market. We call these brands VAP - Value Added Products.
As the Product Brand Specialist you will create customers for life by executing on our promise of customised service by being the custodian of the Reece VAP brands and ensure our VAP brands are marketed, known and respected in the marketplace to achieve the company vision and successfully implement the Greatness Blueprint.
This role is currently based in Burwood, relocating to our new offices at Cremorne in 2020.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the VAP Brand Manager to effectively implement ongoing marketing strategies to ensure the long-term success of value added products
- Prepare appropriate support literature, training material and SOAK (intranet) content (including clear understanding and simple explanation of the true benefits of the products; product information leaflets, website, and the like; point of sale branding; and maintain store and product directions)
- Execute product brand launches in Australia and New Zealand with relevant stakeholders
- Execute Marketing Campaigns for product brands as agreed with all key stakeholders
- Gain a full understanding of the products, their features, benefits and marketability
- Be across competitor tracking, sales and market share analysis and monitoring of promotion programs
- Product Development
- Keep abreast of the changes occurring in the market place in respect to competitors, like products, regulation changes and plumbing standards, product shifts and pricing
- Assist VAP Brand Manager in identifying new opportunities for brands
- Increase brand Sales
- Develop campaigns that educate consumers and trade audiences about the unique benefits of the products
- Provide tools for branches and field marketing teams to enable them to demonstrate and train customers on the products
What you’ll need:
- Relevant knowledge and skills with experience with at least 3 to 5 years in Marketing
- Strong track record of success in delivering integrated brand campaigns
- To enjoy working in an inclusive, collaborative environment which values team culture.
- Strong organising and planning skills and can manage their time wisely and effectively prioritise multiple competing tasks
- Strategic thinker with experience in supporting a team with a focus on brand strategy and development.
- Understand appropriate financial measures and use them to make informed business decisions.
