AMP Capital Shopping Centres (AMPCSC) sits within the Real Estate division of AMP Capital Investors, and provides asset, development, and property management expertise to the shopping centres owned and/ or managed by AMP Capital Investor’s various property funds and private clients.

AMPCSC also asset manages AMP’s ownership in five externally managed Westfield shopping centres, protecting and driving asset performance on behalf of the AMP owners. AMPCSC has a broad portfolio of Shopping Centres and it operates across Australia and New Zealand.

The role:

To maximise the value of the centre through creating, implementing and managing strategic marketing initiatives which drive the centre traffic, sales performance and market share. Develop and deliver the annual marketing plan and budget (in line with the national template) ensuring synergy with each centre’s business plan, strategic intent and national direction.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the centre’s key issues, competitor activity, trade area demographics and trading patterns – including relevancy to state and national trends.Develop a close understanding of turnover performance and occupancy costs of the centre, including majors, specialty categories and individual retailers.  Be focussed on understanding trends and individual retailer performance.  Speak to relevant retailers each month in order to determine the factors impacting on their trading performance.  Compile information into monthly turnover commentary report.
