This exciting 12month contract will oversee the delivery of both qualitative and quantitative research projects designed to inform the Councils strategic planning, service planning and decision making process.

The position is suited to an experienced researcher who has the proven ability to:

• Lead a team of qualitative and quantitative researchers to deliver best practice research outcomes for Council
• Be a key point of contact who is able to provide advice on how to define and solve business problems utilising research
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational and community outcomes
• Improve processes and procedures to realise organisational efficiencies and improve research outcomes
• Coach and mentor staff to ensure a happy, healthy, engaged and productive workforce

About you:

• Insight driven with proven experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• With the support of qualitative and quantitative researchers, this role is responsible for working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, and collecting and analysing data and trends to create insight-led reports and actionable recommendations.
• Proven experience in managing highly engaged online communities will be ideal
