The Business Development Officer will work seamlessly along side the Economic Development and Tourism team and draw on all their resources to contribute to economic growth and prosperity in South Gippsland.
You will gain success through:
- Demonstrating a commitment to business growth in South Gippsland;
- Establishing solid business and stakeholder networks;
- Understanding the complexities of business;
- Having solid local knowledge of the Shire;
- The implementation of programs, initiatives and services aligned with the Economic Development and Tourism Strategy.
About You:
- Experience in managing social media campaigns;
- A fair team player who works autonomously when required;
- An excellent communicator with the ability to identify and clarify opportunities and challenges presented;
- Able to analyse information gained through several avenues and develop pathways to meet stakeholder needs;
- Previous experience as an economic development practitioner or similar.
