This is about building a brand community - both online and offline. Getting people talking with us, or about us, and joining in that conversation.
This role includes (+- 80% online):
Get us out there:
- Consistently produce, publish and optimise various styles of social media content against a schedule for multiple different different brands/products. Platforms include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, GoogleMyBusiness, Medium, Dribbble, LinkedIn.
- Come up with ideas for unique content & facilitate its creation with the creatives.
Get us in there:
- Engage with, and facilitate conversation in, our online customer groups and the general industry on various channels.
- Create a positive, collaborative environment amongst our audiences, and lead initiatives designed to create connections.
- Respond to questions and comments quickly and positively with the goal of adding value.
- Help to identify and foster advocates or influencers, and sales qualified leads.
- Acquire, nurture and educate audiences.
Also (+- 20% real world):
Outside:
- Help to facilitate events from meet-ups to corporate conferences.
- Identify opportunities for involvement in graduate programs, including careers fairs and alumni events.
Inside:
- Assisting with written, video or photographic case studies.
- Assessing performance and identifying optimisations in community programs.
- Championing staff to build the brand via their own social channels.
In general:
- This is high volume - we need someone that embraces a strong to-do list, can manage priorities and expectations effectively, and also isn’t afraid to ask for help when they need it.
- You’ll need to have exceptional attention to detail, time management, and a high level of organisation.
- You’ll be creative and hands-on, with good writing skills.
- An ability to think commercially, connect the dots to identify opportunities, and provide valuable connections that have the potential to lead to business.
- Self confidence to speak to people, and speak in front of people.
- You will need experience in, and a good understanding of, the dynamics and differences of how to participate in and communicate on different social media platforms or online channels.
- You will need to build an understanding of the nuances in communication across the industry, and in different regions.
