Working within our Sales team this position plays a pivotal role in determining key company strategies to grow the business, with the role involved in product development, category strategy establishment and market & consumer research. This is a dynamic role with plenty of scope to work within Australia’s leading environmental company.

Your accountabilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the completion of customer range reviews & presentations
  • Make recommendations to the Marketing & Sales teams on NPD (range extensions & white space opportunities), portfolio management, range, space and promotional activity in all categories
  • Producing timely reports and presentations to deliver
    • Industry knowledge and activity
    • Sales tracking and performance
    • Better understanding of customer, shoppers and retailers
    • Trade spend and profit ROI
  • Management of key data sources including Nielsen Scan Track & Homescan
  • Identifying and coordinating Market and Customer focused research
  • Weekly Sales reporting
  • Develop and implement improved reporting communication across the business

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a proven analytical thinker, who thrives on acquiring new knowledge
  • Have curiosity to question and creatively deliver more than just an answer
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and can meet timelines
  • Advanced Excel capabilities
  • Experience in analysis using Nielsen or IRI scan & panel data
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in a Category or Sales Analyst role
  • Tertiary Degree in Business/Marketing or related discipline
