Part-time contract role with a view to permanent.

About You

This is a rare opportunity for a talented writer, content marketer or digital storyteller to expand their experience.

You will require the ability to focus on developing content that drives business outcomes and be accountable for delivering campaigns, media and website content to grow our customer base.

You'll play a key role in crafting a new inbound marketing strategy as well as outbound comm's and will work with some equally gifted creatives who specialise in design, development, demand generation and PR.

You'll need proven skills in content strategy, copy-writing, social media and ideally marketing automation.  A digital specialist who can write, publish and distribute the narrative you've developed and then measure the results.  As they say, there's no point in creating great content that never gets seen.

 

Skills and Experience

Primary Duties

  • Take the lead in the overall content strategy for the business across digital, social and print mediums.
  • Create and run automated nurture campaigns to new prospective customers and existing clients.
  • Work collaboratively to strategise and develop engaging web content and then test and optimise ongoing.
  • Work with senior management team to continue to build their professional brands as experts and thought leaders in this space.
  • Engage and grow our social media communities by developing social content that cuts through.

Secondary Duties

  • Understand key customer touch-points and proactively suggest improvements to the team.
  • Assist to define key audience segments, customer personas and understand their pain points and potential barriers to purchase.
  • Champion website messaging consistency.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience copy-writing and content production, in particular writing for the web to capture and engage
  • Experience with marketing automation and database management
  • Demonstrable ability to think critically, accurately and work collaboratively via systems like Trello and Google Drive
  • Demonstrable experience in website content management systems - Wordpress would be ideal
  • Experience in managing blog content and social media channels
  • An understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and SEO principles

Will be highly regarded:

  • Degree in Marketing
  • Experience or a personal passion in Finance, Investment or Real Estate
  • Salesforce, Mailchimp or similar database and automation skills
  • Previous experience writing SEO content
  • Experience analysing the customer journey
  • Experience with A/B testing software
