About the Role

Working closely with the Director, Commercialisation, growth is driving the need to appoint an exceptional Commercialisation Project Manager. This provides the perfect opportunity for a passionate life sciences project manager to manage key initiatives for an innovative medical technology in development. This newly created role will be responsible for managing and implementing projects for our new medical device technology along the path to commercialisation.
Instrumental in the coordination of projects is developing and reporting of project plans, developing and maintaining stakeholder relations. Key responsibilities will involve:

• Assist in building and revising commercialisation plans.
• Support execution of commercialisation projects within time, budget and scope.
• Support the planning and communication process with cross functional teams to ensure the proper execution of commercialisation programs.
• Work collaboratively with functional and strategic partners.
• This position involves extensive interaction with external partners requiring collaboration, coordination and oversight of service providers.

The primary purpose of this critical role is to manage and implement commercialisation projects for the Biosensor by applying your medical device/IVD development understanding and utilising your project management capability from a start-up perspective.

About You

• A degree in life sciences and a track record of successful project management execution experience across the international medical device/IVD industry is paramount to your success in the role. You will have significant product development/pre-marketing experience in the medical device/IVD sector from a clinical, medical or commercial sense and will have had a successful project management background.  

The ideal candidate will have outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to: 

• Establish relationships with key stakeholders through well-developed relationship management skills, and a clear understanding of the product development process;
• You will have very strong planning skills and a significant development/pre-marketing background. Strong project management knowledge including global exposure is preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years management experience in clinical, medical or pre-marketing commercial roles.
• Experience within the life sciences arena, having an applied understanding of clinical trials, medical affairs, market access and commercial operations would be advantageous.
